As part of a renovation project for a private manor house in the Midlands we were asked to oversee all aspects of the marble work from block selection, inspection and production at the quarry and factory in Italy, and shipping to the installation of the finished piece.
The cantilever staircase is constructed from Italian Carrara marble, shows a honed finish, and incorporates moulded soffits and a monkey-tail step. The entrance flooring, also in Carrara marble, shows a polished finish and detailed inlay using Spanish Nero Marquina and French Rouge Incarnate marbles.
